Every detail was carefully considered to deliver a modern, functional and elegant living space, inside the apartment and out on the terrace it opens onto.
The bathrooms carry the work. One is a restrained composition in subway tile and stone with brushed brass fittings and a wall-hung pan; the other goes the other way entirely, in figured brass panelling and gold-veined marble around a set-in bath.
Outside, the terrace was rebuilt from a bare graded base into a full entertaining space new stone paving laid across the whole floor, the planter walls rendered and finished, and the outlook opened up. It is the room the apartment gained.
