Traditional detailing, modern performance

An apartment renovated to a specification usually reserved for a house. Bisazza Italian tile, New York marble, custom copper PVD finishes and tapware chosen to match.

The kitchen is built around a marble benchtop and splashback with shaker joinery beneath, hung with black industrial pendants and a run of full-height storage that hides the working half of the room.

The bathrooms take the French-inspired thread furthest: a mosaic-clad bath set into a curved tiled wall in one, a console basin in marble and polished chrome in another, and a patterned encaustic floor laid to a border in the third. Every surface is new, but nothing in the finished apartment announces the year it was done.
