A renovation across the whole house rather than a single wing. Kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and the pool terrace, each resolved to the same standard.
Two kitchens sit at opposite ends of the brief and both are the client’s: a traditional shaker room in painted timber with a full-thickness hardwood island, and a second in book-matched marble with concealed lighting and brushed brass. The living rooms carry the same discipline. A stone fireplace surround, an arched opening cut between rooms, and a full-height media wall in marble and dark timber.
The wet areas are marble throughout, detailed in brushed brass with recessed niches and frameless glass. Outside, the pool and its surround were reset into the formal garden so the terrace reads as part of the house rather than an addition to it.
